We are so excited to share with you our sacred wedding ceremony and hope it will inspire you and put a smile on your face.
We are so excited to share with you our sacred wedding ceremony and hope it will inspire you and put a smile on your face.
Thanks to our Fabulous Team of Professionals, Family and Friends
Our Videographer Alex and his Assistant Kotze
Our very busy videographer, Alejandro “Alex” Gomez, ([email protected]), did such an awesome job of videotaping our day, along with help from his wonderful assistant Kotze. They were with Donna at the salon while she was having her hair done and also with her later at our home while Donna's makeup was being done. And then on to Mayfair Farms, from rehearsal to ceremony, reception and beyond. They were such troopers.
We are so grateful to them both. Alex is not just a videographer, but an artist, who works with actors and directors and who is currently working on a documentary about a show some of you may recall called “The Waltons” starring Richard Thomas.
Alex will also be working on another video for us that will contain elements from all parts of our day that started at 9 in the morning and continued until 11 p.m. We were so guided and blessed to have found you Alex and all our other wonderful vendors.
Donna's Makeup Artist Nesreen
Alex referred me to my amazing makeup artist. Thank you, Nesreen Hamdan ,
([email protected]), from Wayne, NJ, for helping to make me look so special on one of the most important days of my life and for also doing such beautiful work with my maid of honor Caterina. I can understand why you do work for princesses from the Middle East. You are so wise, kind and gifted. Thank you for all your suggestions, for your patience and for your beautiful wishes for us.
Our Gifted Hairdresser Diana
Thanks and hugs to our wonderful hairdresser Diana Hernandez of Raymond's Salon 'N Spa in Somerset, NJ, for creating such a sweet and sophisticated look for Donna and a great trim for the handsome groom. The day was off to a wonderful start with your always creative expertise. You heard our story from the start and intuitively knew in your heart that something very special was unfolding.
Our Creative and Tireless Photographer Joseph
We know that our very creative photographer, Joseph Mendez ([email protected]), will soon be surprising us with some wonderful and extraordinary pictures that will last a lifetime. You have a delightful passion for your work, Joseph, and it was inspiring to see that passion and commitment throughout the day as you shared time with us and orchestrated so many inventive shots. Thanks also for recommending Alex and for working so beautifully together with him and Kotze. Thanks also to your wife, Diane, for her kind and caring words and beautiful wishes for us.
Our Fabulous Florist Tony Baradhi
We spent much time with Tony ([email protected]), manger of The Flower Station, Somerset, NJ, deciding not only on flowers, bouquets and arrangements, but also on centerpieces and decorations for the ceremony and reception. Thank you, Tony, for your patience and guidance and for your artistic skills. Thank you for personally delivering Donna and Caterina's gorgeous bouquets to our home and wishing us luck for the day. And thank you for setting the scene for the ceremony so beautifully and for creating a room so breathtakingly beautiful that Donna had tears in her eyes when she beheld your artistry and what you had created in the reception room. It was simple and yet so special and magnificent. You created beauty throughout the venue and on every table. We are so deeply grateful for all your help. Thanks too to Zöe for her administrative help and for her good wishes.

Our Beloved Bridal Party
For those in our bridal party, we thank you again for supporting us and sharing your love with us on our special day. Beloved Caterina and Linda, Rabih, who came all the way from Dubai to share in our joy, Larry and Roger, you were all so magnificent and we honor and thank you for your love and support. We know you will enjoy experiencing the beauty of the ceremony again.
Family and Friends who Shared Sacred Blessings
For those in our ceremony who said special prayers and blessings for us, we are so grateful to you. All who see this video will feel the inclusiveness of love and the global sense of peace and love that you all shared from your beautiful hearts, each of you representing such different cultures and religions. Jewish, Christian, Hindu and Arabic prayers were shared, along with a special angelic prayer from our minister, Kimberly Marooney.
We wanted our wedding ceremony to reflect the diversity that an interfaith minister embraces and you all helped us do that so magnificently. We offer our heartfelt thanks to Kimberly, Larry, Virtue, Satej and Premi, and Roger for helping to make our ceremony so special and so global.

Our Two Precious Twin Angels, Sabeh and Genevieve
In the ceremony, you will also see two adorable five-year-old twin angels, Sabeh and Genevieve, our ring bearer and flower girl, who each did such a wonderful job both at the rehearsals and during the ceremony. We thank them both for adding so many blessings and so much grace to our ceremony. They lightened so many hearts wherever they went.

Our Angel Minister, Teacher and Friend Kimberly
Our minister, Kimberly ([email protected]), as you will all see, did an amazing job of officiating at our ceremony and helped bring in such a rich abundance of angelic energy. We love you Kimberly and are so grateful to you and Dana for coming all the way from CA to be part of our event.
Thank you for the hours of time we shared together to make this ceremony so very special. You were wonderful at our rehearsals and participated in ways large and small to make this day so special for us. Thank you too for your sacred private blessings and prayers, for carving out some precious time for us before our reception and for reminding us to take some time out from the hustle and bustle of the day to commune with God and angels in private prayer.
Our Wonderful Guests
To those beloved guests who said “yes” to attend our wedding, we are so deeply grateful to all of you. We could not have had this beautiful party without you. All our hard work to make this day so special would have been in vain. Even though we were but a small and intimate group, you all added so much light as our witnesses to our ceremony. We love your passion and your gorgeous hearts and we loved your fabulous energy on the dance floor.
Thank you for your prayers, wishes and gifts. We honor each of you and wish you all so many beautiful blessings. We hope you all had a wonderful time and found the day one that uplifted your hearts and provided deep inspiration for your souls. It was a day of extraordinary miracles when the impossible was finally made so possible.
We heard from many people that the cocktail hour was great and that the food was fabulous. They even added a Lebanese-themed section of food to honor Sharbel and his Middle Eastern friends. We know that the DJ was fabulous by your inspired dancing throughout the evening. Even the weather was extraordinary.
Our Event Planner Joanne from Mayfair Farms
We thank Joanne Szibdat, ([email protected]), of Mayfair Farms, for all her guidance and for providing a wonderful venue for our wedding. She took care to help us make the right menu choices and created a magnificent lavender and white wedding cake. Mayfair Farms even baked a special delicious anniversary cake for Donna's sister Linda and her brother-in-law Larry who would be celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary the following Sunday. We are so grateful, Joanne, for all your help and wish you so many miracles and blessings. May all the good you do come back to you multifold.
Our Maître D', Barbara, and Waiter Ed
Thanks go to our Maître D', Barbara, for her sweet heart and expert efficiency in doing such a great job to ensure that all flowed so smoothly and that our guests were so well taken care of. Thanks also to our waiter Ed who was so kind and responsive to all our needs and to those of our guests.
Our Multi-talented DJ Justin
Justin, our inexhaustible and multi-talented DJ, from Epic Events, deserves so much gratitude for all his hard work and attention to detail. Thank you, Justin, for spending time with us and getting to know us and for helping us in whatever ways you could. We appreciate how well the music flowed at our ceremony and you were definitely in your “zone" at our reception, timing everything perfectly while playing such fabulous music to get both bodies and souls moving, as all those out on the dance floor will affirm.
Even though we were but a small group, you gave it your all and took such good care of us. We understand how much is involved in being a good DJ. Music selection is just one small part of it. We wish you, your wife and your new son arriving in September so many blessings.
Our Friends and Family Around the World Unable to Attend
For all our dear family and friends around the world who were unable to attend, we also send you our love and gratitude for your support and kindness.
This video was done with you in mind, knowing we wanted to share our sacred ceremony with you. We hope you have a chance to watch it. And if you do, we hope you can feel all the love and joy.
There was even a miracle in the lighting of the candles that at first didn’t seem possible. Click on the image below to view our ceremony. Please email Donna ([email protected]) or Sharbel ([email protected]) for the password.
